Weight Loss Nutrition

Whether you're looking to lose weight for health reasons, to boost confidence, or to manage hormonal changes, our women-focused weight loss package offers expert guidance from GPs specialising in women’s health as well as an expert Nutritionist.

Hormonal shifts such as those linked to menopause, PCOS, or thyroid imbalances can significantly impact weight and make conventional approaches less effective. That’s why weight loss support for women often requires a specialist view.

Our team combines medical insight with an understanding of the female health implications, ensuring any treatment, whether lifestyle-based or medication-led, is both safe and tailored to your body’s needs. Designed to be sustainable and medically supervised, our plans help you achieve real, lasting results with the support of clinicians who truly understand women’s health.

Who is it for?

Our programmes are ideal for women who:

  • Are struggling to lose weight despite lifestyle changes
  • Are experiencing weight gain related to hormones, menopause, or PCOS
  • Prefer a medically supervised, evidence-based approach

We tailor each plan to suit your health goals, whether you're looking to improve fertility, manage a condition, or boost overall wellbeing.

The first visit will be a screening test to make sure you are suitable for the treatment followed by a check with our nutritionist, tests and consultation with our specialist Women’s Health General Practitioners.

What does Weight Loss Nutrition package involve?

Our weight loss package is designed specifically for women, combining medical support, personalised plans, and clinically proven treatments to support safe, sustainable weight loss. The package begins with a comprehensive health assessment, including blood tests where needed, and continues with regular monitoring and specialist input.

Your plan will include:

  • Extensive pre-investigations, including blood tests and scans
  • Hormonal evaluations, especially where weight gain may be linked to menopause, PCOS, or thyroid changes
  • Prescription weight loss medication, such as Mounjaro (tirzepatide)
  • Tailored nutritional advice and coaching
  • Advanced health and nutritional tracking
  • Ongoing support from clinicians with expertise in women's health

What is Mounjaro?

Mounjaro, a once-weekly injectable medication, has been shown in clinical trials to help patients lose up to 20% or more of their body weight when used alongside lifestyle changes. It works by mimicking two key gut hormones (GLP‑1 and GIP), helping to regulate appetite and blood sugar.

Is Mounjaro safe?

When prescribed and monitored properly, Mounjaro is considered safe for most patients. Like any medication, it comes with potential side effects and risks, which we review together during your consultation. We monitor your progress closely to make sure it’s working safely for your body and your goals. It is approved by health authorities for weight management in adults with obesity or overweight with associated health risks.

As with any new medication, we won’t fully know the longer term effects yet, but treatment is always initiated and supervised by our specialist medical team, with your safety, wellbeing, and long-term goals in mind.

How long does the programme last?

Most women start to see progress in 4-6 weeks. The consultation reviews will occur every 3-6 months and the entire package can last for varying lengths of time, depending on your personalised plan with your clinician. Regular check-ins allow us to adjust your plan and ensure safe, steady results.

Are results guaranteed?

As with all health programmes, outcomes vary by individual. However, when used consistently and alongside lifestyle changes, many women achieve meaningful and lasting weight loss. Our focus is always on safe progress, improved metabolic health, and long-term success.

How much weight can I expect to lose?

Weight loss results vary, but many women lose 5–20% of their starting weight over several months when Mounjaro is combined with lifestyle changes. We'll set realistic, personalized goals based on your health history and support you every step of the way.

Is Mounjaro right for me?

Mounjaro may be a great option if you’ve struggled with weight loss despite lifestyle changes, especially if you have insulin resistance, PCOS, or prediabetes.

But it’s not safe for everyone - we’ll review your medical history, labs, and goals together to make the best choice for your health.

What are the side effects?

The most common side effects include nausea, constipation, and mild fatigue, especially in the beginning. These usually improve over time. We start at a low dose and adjust gradually to minimize discomfort. Serious side effects are rare, but we’re always here to support you.

It’s also worth noting that Mounjaro can affect the absorption of any other medications you are taking (especially contraception and HRT!) so it’s always worth notifying us and your regular GP.

Do I have to follow a strict diet?

Not a strict diet — but we do guide you on how to eat smarter, nourish your body, and avoid common pitfalls that can slow progress. Nutrition plays a big role in how well Mounjaro works, and we’ll support you with simple, sustainable strategies.

Will I gain the weight back when I stop?

Weight regain is possible if lifestyle changes don’t stick. That’s why our program is focused on building long-term habits, not just relying on medication. We’ll help you maintain results through nutrition, movement, and ongoing care — whether you stay on Mounjaro or not.
