Mr Tomasz Lukaszewski MD PhD

Mr Tomasz Lukaszewski is a senior consultant in reproductive medicine at IVI London, one of the UK’s leading IVF clinics. With over 15 years of experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, he has worked across both the NHS and private sectors, offering a well-rounded, international perspective in patient care.

His clinical experience includes roles at the Royal London Hospital and University College London Hospital (UCLH), as well as the Obstetrics and Gynaecology University Hospital in Poland. While at UCLH, he completed a fellowship in reproductive medicine and minimal access surgery. At the Royal London Hospital, he made significant contributions to the Endometriosis Centre and the Chronic Pelvic Pain Clinic, gaining expertise in managing complex cases of severe endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain and fertility concerns. He has also participated in a post-doctoral program in gynaecology in the Gynaecology and Women’s Health Department at the University of Minnesota, USA.

Mr Lukaszewski offers a full range of fertility investigations and treatments, with particular expertise in:

  • Fertility preservation, including egg, sperm and embryo freezing
  • IVF, with or without pre-implantation genetic testing (PGT)
  • ROPA treatment (“shared motherhood”) for same-sex female couples
  • Egg donation and surrogacy for same-sex male couples
  • Counselling and support for individuals using donated gametes or embryos

Mr Lukaszewski holds a PhD in foetal medicine after completing a four-year doctoral programme. He was later appointed as a lecturer at Poznan University of Medical Sciences, demonstrating his commitment to both medical education and research alongside clinical practice.
