Ms Shikha Kapur is a Consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician at Watford General Hospital, part of the West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. She leads the Early Pregnancy Service and serves as the College Tutor, playing a key role in both patient care and medical education.
Ms Kapur specialises in a range of women’s health areas, including:
- Early pregnancy care
- Ultrasound scanning
- Recurrent miscarriage
- Outpatient hysteroscopy
- Menopause management
- Ambulatory gynaecology
Ms Kapur also manages ovarian cysts, fibroids, coil insertion and removal, and offers contraceptive advice.
Additionally, she also offers keyhole surgery (laparoscopic) management of ovarian cysts, fibroids and hysterectomy.
She completed her medical degree at St George’s University, London and undertook her specialist training in Northeast London, gaining broad experience in both obstetrics and gynaecology.
