Ms Ora Jesner is a consultant gynaecologist and obstetrician at Whipps Cross Hospital, where she serves as lead for the Emergency Gynaecology Unit and clinical lead for governance in obstetrics and gynaecology. She is recognised for her leadership in service development, particularly in improving care pathways for ectopic pregnancy and miscarriage. Ms Jesner has presented her work at both national and international conferences.
She completed her undergraduate studies at Cambridge University and clinical training at University College London (UCL), before undertaking specialist training in the North Central and East London deanery. Ms Jesner also holds a postgraduate certificate in medical ultrasound from King’s College London.

- Early pregnancy and gynaecology scanning
- Hysteroscopy
- Laparoscopic gynaecological surgery
- Vulval disease
A passionate educator, Ms Jesner has led medical student teaching at Whipps Cross and currently serves as the Clinical Educator for junior doctors. She developed an innovative training programme for community-based advisors in women’s health within faith communities and founded the See One Club, a practical training initiative for doctors in Obstetrics and Gynaecology across London.
Fluent in Hebrew, Ms Jesner enjoys art, crafting and is a dedicated CrossFit enthusiast. She also enjoys spending time with her four children.
