Dr Claire Phipps is an experienced and compassionate general practitioner (GP), dedicated to delivering holistic, patient-centred care across all ages. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and brings a trauma-informed perspective to her menopause care.

Claire believes that perimenopause and menopause offer a valuable opportunity to regain control of health and well-being. She recognises that hormonal changes can sometimes resurface past traumas or vulnerabilities and is committed to offering sensitive, trauma-aware support during this important life stage.

Her practice is rooted in health equity. Claire is passionate about improving access to evidence-based menopause care for underserved and marginalised communities. Her areas of special interest include education and treatment around genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM) and supporting survivors of female genital mutilation (FGM). She is actively engaged in charity and community-based initiatives focused on breaking down barriers to healthcare – particularly for ethnically diverse groups – ensuring a more inclusive and compassionate system for all.
