Ms Rhonda Flemming MBBS MRCOG

Ms Rhonda Flemming is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with over six years of consultant-level experience in the NHS. She currently works at The Whittington Hospital in London, where she is also the lead for ambulatory gynaecology.

She was one of the first consultants to join London Gynaecology and has been part of the team for almost a decade, reflecting her long-standing commitment to the service and to continuity of care for patients.

Patients commonly see Rhonda for fibroids, PCOS, irregular or heavy periods, postmenopausal bleeding, pelvic pain and early fertility concerns. She supports women with both new and ongoing symptoms, focusing on careful assessment and clear guidance about next steps.

Rhonda has particular expertise in early pregnancy care, emergency gynaecology and outpatient hysteroscopy. These skills allow her to assess symptoms efficiently and, where possible, provide reassurance and management without the need for hospital admission. She also has strong experience in labour ward management, bringing a calm and organised approach to complex clinical situations.

In clinic, Rhonda is known for her down-to-earth, supportive manner. She takes time to listen to patients’ concerns, explain findings in plain language and agree a practical plan that feels manageable and appropriate. Alongside her clinical work, Rhonda is committed to medical education and is actively involved in training and mentoring junior doctors and medical students. Outside of work, she is a mother of three and understands the realities of balancing health concerns with busy family life.
