Ms Karishma Joshi

Karishma Joshi is an experienced Sonographer who supports women with gynaecological and pregnancy ultrasound, often at times when reassurance and clear explanations are especially important. Patients commonly see her for early pregnancy scans and for assessment of symptoms related to conditions such as fibroids or endometriosis.

Karishma brings extensive NHS experience in women’s health and radiology. She holds a first-class honours degree in Diagnostic Radiography and a postgraduate qualification in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound, giving her strong technical expertise alongside a compassionate, patient-centred approach.

She understands that scans can sometimes feel anxiety-provoking, particularly when symptoms have been ongoing or when patients are waiting for answers. Karishma is known for her excellent communication skills and takes time to explain what she is seeing, answer questions and help patients feel at ease throughout their appointment.

Karishma has a particular interest in early pregnancy care and in supporting patients with chronic gynaecological conditions. She believes that patient education is an important part of care and aims to help women feel informed and empowered about their health.

Outside of work, Karishma enjoys travelling and trekking, having hiked to Everest Base Camp, and values health, wellbeing and self-care. She also enjoys spending time with her children and family.
